Cheri Sertage

Cheri’s passion was working as a Respiratory Therapist for 25 years. She enjoyed her job and was excellent at it. She has a love for collecting pens and never missed an opportunity to “snatch” one when possible. Her deepest love and motivation throughout her diagnosis was her family, she did anything and everything she could for them. Cheri had a great sense of humor and was always playing a joke on somebody. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a fan of sprinkles and put them on everything. Her favorite hobby was to take pictures of her loved ones, and over the past ten years she has taken over 70,000 pictures. One thing Cheri would always say was that she never aged and was forever twenty-nine. When Cheri was diagnosed in 2016 with a Glioblastoma, her first words post craniotomy were “I got this”. She showed such strength and dignity over the past 3 1/2 years and has touched and inspired many. Cheri will forever be remembered as one who never gave up and fought till the end all while keeping positive throughout the diagnosis.
