Eric Woll

Eric Edwin Woll was born on December 13th, 1947. His life ended on November 9th, 2011. Diagnosed with a glioblastoma in August 2010, he began treatment & was then diagnosed with another primary tumor in his abdomen. In his last year of life he displayed amazing courage.
After graduating from Lehigh University & marrying his high school sweetheart, Eric worked for Exxon Mobil as an International Crude Oil Trader. His wife, three children, sister, two grandchildren & father miss him terribly. He was a dedicated man, a skilled craftsman, an avid sailor, a gifted mentor, a proud father, a loving grandfather & a devoted husband.
Although not always an outwardly emotional man, he was quite sentimental. In Eric’s words, “Life will go on, different bumps will cross your path but make every new day better than the one before.” He will live on in the hearts he has left behind. He was a parrothead at heart, so in the words of Jimmy Buffett….a lot of his life was magic, some of it was tragic but he had a good life all the way.
