Mom (1 of 1)

Linda Smith

Linda Smith was a one-of-a-kind lady, who devoted every day to taking care of others and making sure each individual knew how much they were loved. She played the role of Mom to hundreds of people. Any person that came to her having a bad day, she re-oriented their thoughts to remember the blessings in their life. Her career was spent helping and serving others through working with Child Protective Services or assisting families in need and working with Veterans.

Just a year before her diagnosis of Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme, her doctor had commented that she was the healthiest person he had ever met. In fact, she had only been sick a handful of times in her life. She wasn’t even allergic to mosquitoes…she had never experienced that awful itch!!!

Linda was lots of fun and loved to laugh. She loved her family and truly was the glue that held everyone together…even at her workplace. We miss her so much and hope to advocate on her behalf to raise awareness of GBM.
