While in law school in 1992, James Brown survived a brain injury that resulted in significant and permanent disability.His astrocytoma brain tumor was such that no chemo or radiation could be done… He chose to view it as merely an obstacle in the journey of life, earning a master’s degree in philosophy, teaching college philosophy, and developing skill in options trading. He is an active participant in the Grey Matters Brain Tumor Support Group and started the brain injury suppor tgroup in New Mexico when living there. He currently has started up locally an organization called Brain Injury Southwest, which is focused on overcoming obstacles to a fulfilling life. James is the father to a daughter – training as a Physician Assistant. We applaud James in his quest to life a full life and overcoming obstacles !!!!
