Chuck was multitalented… a clinician, a visionary leader, an inventor, a people connector, an adventurer, and a very stubborn, but genuine man. He loved to travel, go out sailing on a nice day, hit the slopes on skis, design new house projects and collect fine wine. He absolutely loved being girl dad and a ‘pappi’ (grandpa).
In September 2023, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Over the year he spent battling against the odds, he remained optimistic and determined despite much uncertainty and many challenges. He never let the diagnosis he was given define his life and he lived each day by the motto ‘today is the first day of the rest of my life.’
Last year when we participated in the inaugural year of Head for the Cure OC, it was only months after he left us in October 2024. He would be proud knowing we continue to honor his life in a way that would help others.
