Joe was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on January 9, 1959, and died on November 16, 2025, at the age of 66 in Clermont, FL. Joe enjoyed life to the fullest. Joe was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on February 4, 2022. With his faith in God and the continual prayers and support of so many dear family members and friends, Joe surpassed all expectations of life expectancy.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years Tammy Leger; his cherished daughter Chandra Leger; grandson Henry Leger; step son Michael Havill; sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Darrell Aebischer; brother Jim Leger; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Joe graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. In 1995 he began a two-year assignment as an architect at Walt Disney World in Florida that turned into a 25-year dream career as a Walt Disney Imagineer. Joe worked on Disney Resorts in California, Florida, and Hawaii.
