Jake is a graduate of the University of Missouri–Columbia, where he earned degrees in strategic communication, sociology, and public administration and policy. He has since dedicated his career to supporting the non-profit sector. During his master’s program, Jake focused his thesis on inclusive models of health communication, preparing him to amplify stories across the brain cancer community with Head for the Cure.

Outside of work, Jake can be found at his local movie theater, reading, or cheering on KC Current and Sporting KC.
