Jimmy Don Kerns

Jimmy Don was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer on April 13, 2018. He succumbed to his illness on September 1st, 2019. Throughout the year and half that Jimmy Don battled his cancer he was able to welcome his first grandchild into the world and travel to faraway lands with his soulmate and dear friends. Jimmy Don enjoyed playing his guitar, watching the ball game or just chatting with friends and family in his own private oasis, his back patio. Jimmy Don was treated for his illness at St. Lukes in Kansas City as well as MD Anderson in Houston. Jimmy Don approached his illness exactly as he did with every obstacle he encounter, he remained calm and positive, strengthened by his relationship with Jesus.
