I am nominating Dr. Fisher for the Healthcare Hero award because I cannot think of a doctor who deserves it more. I first met Dr. Fisher in May 2022 as a new patient after my brain surgery. Not only has she been the most caring, receptive doctor among my cancer journey, she has become more like family to us. I’ve found myself visiting Texas Oncology with my dogs just to see her outside of my appointments. She is

simply the most amazing neuro-oncologist. Her passion for helping me achieve my mostly delusional goals doesn’t go unnoticed. I genuinely look forward to all of my oncology appointments just to talk to Dr. Fisher. She has a clear passion for helping others.
