Dr. Meagan Anderson is an eye doctor at a clinic in Omaha who actually found a problem behind Monica Winkelmann’s eye that turned out to be an Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Monica was simply supporting Dr. Anderson, as a friend, by visiting her at her new clinic and getting a routine eye appointment.

Within 48 hours, Monica was in the ER having surgery and obtaining 30+ staples on her head. She ended up receiving 7 plus months of radiation and chemotherapy and was truly saved by Megan’s keen expertise at seeing something that needed to be addressed in that moment. 

Megan is a hero for truly saving Monica and she should be celebrated.
