Dr. Megan Mantica has been a neuro-oncologist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for the past eight years.

As Fellowship Director of the Karp Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Mantica plays a pivotal role in training and mentoring the next generation of neuro-oncologists. Under her leadership, early-career physicians develop both the clinical excellence and scientific mindset needed to care for patients facing some of the most challenging diagnoses.
Beyond her educational leadership, Dr. Mantica is advancing the field through translational research and the design of clinical trials aimed at improving treatments for glioblastoma and other aggressive brain tumors. Her work spans immunotherapy, and precision medicine approaches.
