My family firmly believes one of the reasons I am still alive is because of Dr. Richard Stovall’s skill as a neurosurgeon. Even though Dr. Stovall is skilled, he is very humble and compassionate. He is the doctor you want at your bedside before and after surgery. He is also someone you want on your side, when you make statements like, “Longevity rates are based on statistics. There is always an outlier. I am that outlier.” He was a key part of the team allowing the possibility for me to be an outlier 20 years later!
