Rose was diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer in 2018, and shortly after the diagnosis, she had half of the tennis ball sized tumor removed. Following surgery, she started radiation and chemotherapy; however, her last day of chemo was in late April, 2019. The great news is that Rose’s genetics allow her to respond incredibly well to treatment, meaning she’s doing absolutely incredible — with each MRI showing a cleaner scan than the one before it! Believe it or not, Rose is currently studying to get back to medical school, where she can eventually help people and patients with a similar diagnosis, and possibly find a cure!
