I am running in honor of my big brother Aaron Marsh. My brother was a normal, active, full of life, 26 year old man. He loved being outside in God’s creation and was always up for a good hike or camp out. He was the most giving, laid back person I knew. He was a newlywed and loved his wife very much. In Nov of 2009 he was diagnosed with a level 3 GBM tumor and was told he had months to live. Aaron was a fighter and that is just what he did. He began treatment right away. He was always smiling, even when he was having one of his bad days. He never complained or asked why him, instead he lived every moment to the fullest giving glory to God every step of the way. He was always looking for ways to help others and give back even then. He never, ever gave up hope and always did the most he could do everyday. He loved his wife and family very much and was always talking and sharing details of his day with us. We spent many days laughing at stories from childhood, and making new memories. My brother fought a good fight, kept the faith, and that smile on his face to the very end. He lost his battle with Cancer May 5th, 2011 and went home to be with the Lord. He is forever in our hearts and is our hero for sure.

*May 5, 2011 we began to honor the memory of Aaron.
