Adam suffered seizures while on duty in late January of this year. After being ventated for a week, with the seizures under control, it was determined he had a 4.5 cm tumor in the left frontal lobe of his brain. He rehabbed for another week in the hospital before being released to go home to recover. A little over a week later, surgery removed the tumor. He was released to go home three days later where he’s been recuperating and waiting to return to work. The tumor has graded out at a 3 and we have started monitoring activity, hoping and praying it remains inactive for a long period of time. We expect him to return to work soon and get back to normal patrol activities.
