My daughter was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma in 2017, at age 25. She and her husband, Matt, had just been married six months prior. She has undergone two craniotomies, chemo with radiation, and recently completed a year of maintenance chemo. She has handled all of these obstacles with grace, and strength indicative of the beautiful soul that she is. Being an artist, she has continued to take photos for others and even take part in fashion photo shoots with stitches in her noggin. All of her family and friends are extremely proud of our girl, and her ability to remain positive in the face of this hardship. We are also extremely grateful for the wonderful care we have received from our Henry Ford “family” of doctors and staff.
