Bob Tanner was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in May 2019 after initially having stroke-like symptoms. He had tumor resection at MUSC and is currently ongoing treatments at home, in Simpsonville, SC, along with ongoing care at MUSC. He is the head of our family, who has a love of horses, history, and his family. He has countless people who love him – his family, friends, and the team roping community that he has been part of for years. His horses are a huge part of his life, and he continues to enjoy riding today. We’ve formed Team Tanner to fight for our dad because he inspires us each day – actually both of our parents do! Their ongoing love story and how they take care of each other is truly a gift. Our dad’s strength and courage facing the uncertainty of this disease is why he is such an inspiration.
