Bobbi is my wife of 47 years. To all who know her, she’s a model of friendship, kindness, generosity, and strength! She has clearly shown these positive virtues during the past 15 months during which she courageously battled Primary Central Nervous System lymphomas of the brain. Her chemo treatment, under the expert care of Dr. Peereboom at Cleveland Clinic main campus, involved 6 days of hospitalization every other week for 4 months. During these hospitalizations, she made many new friendships with hospital room-mates, nurses, & other caregivers. Each day, she would awaken with a very positive attitude, get dressed, put on her shoes, & begin her frequent walks throughout the hospital, including Panera, Starbucks, & the hospital’s roof top lounge. Her treatment has been successful, and she continues close monitoring as a participant in a chemo medication research study. Frequent exercise classes, cancer support activities, & fun times with friends fills her days with joy & hope!
