On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2019, a tumor was found on my dad’s MRI after weeks of intense headaches and fatigue. Soon after he was diagnosed with grade IV Glioblastoma. After surviving brain surgery, a stroke, radiation and chemotherapy, he is now resting comfortably at home thanks to the support of his wife and hospice staff. He reached the milestone of his 60th birthday on July 4 and was able to enjoy the day complete with fireworks.
