Brandon Ray “Modine” Garcia was living his dream. Brandon graduated from North Shore High School in 2009 and was determined to get his career started. He enrolled at UTI where he began his journey to becoming an auto technician. At the top of his class he graduated and was offered to attend UTI in Boston to enroll in the Mercedes-Benz Program. Brandon was up for the challenge. He attended UTI Boston and graduated as a Certified Mercedes-Benz Tech. Brandon was offered a job with Mercedes Benz of San Antonio and began to live his dream at the age of 22. At a young age, he was proving that if you set your mind to something then nothing can stop you from achieving your goals. In June 2014, Brandon started to suffer from major headaches that lead him to getting an MRI, where we then found out he had a Grade 4 Glioblastoma. Through Brandon’s journey he never failed to smile. He always had a positive outlook on life and never intended to give up. Family and friends were by his side the entire way. Brandon went through 4+surgeries, chemo and radiation therapy and even participated in the NovoCure study. On November 30, 2015, at the age of 24 Brandon went to be with the lord. He won his battle with Brain Cancer and is living within all of our hearts. We are always going to remember our Modine!!! We are Forever Brandon Strong!!
