Over the past three years I have been so proud of my dad and how he has lived with his diagnosis of Glioblastoma. One of the things I admire most is his strength and determination during this time. Even when he’s feeling sick, has Optune frustrations, and dealing with other changes he’s going through, he has stayed positive. He does this and continues to make his physical and mental health a priority.
I am so thankful for all that my dad is still able to do. He takes care of me, my sister, my mom, and Gus. With all that he has and continues to go through, he still drives us school and sports, stays on top of school sign ups, and still loves to cook and try new recipes. He makes it a priority to go to my swim meets, cross country meets, and all of Abbie’s sports too. I know a lot of times he doesn’t feel good, but he continues to show up and care for us.
Throughout all of the challenges, we have gotten through it together as a family. My dad has taught me that no matter what happens
