Beginning August 2018, Dan began having headaches, which he never had experienced prior. Two weeks later he went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with GBM. Within two weeks he had surgery, shortly after radiation and immunotherapy. He continues to fight and has been through many setbacks including falls and a seizure. He is a strong father of three girls and a proud papa of soon to be 8 grandchildren and we would like to see him nominated for his perseverance against this life altering battle. In his words “it will be okay” and he continues to remind us of this daily.
