Dad was diagnosed with GBM in February 2019 after collapsing with what we thought was a stroke. Since then he has undergone surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and is part of a new immunotherapy trial. Throughout all of this, he has kept his sense of humor and love of God. Dad’s doctors tell him they’ve never had a more positive patient. Never once has he asked, “Why me?” Instead, he thanks God for his continual provision and the testimony he is able to give to everyone he encounters. Dad is the first one to tell you his faith in Jesus as Lord has continued to sustain him. While dad knows that his diagnosis is terminal, he chooses to live his life to the fullest by making sure every moment counts for eternity.
