Debbie Toms was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain tumor in April 2011, after dealing with several severe headaches. She never complained about anything so when she mentioned this to a co-worker, he sent her in for a MRI where an inoperable tumor was found. After the diagnosis Debbie received 8 weeks of radiation and oral chemotherapy medication, which were unsuccessful. Throughout both the diagnosis and treatment process she was always positive and upbeat. She never asked why me or questioned her faith even when others around her questioned theirs. She handled her illness with faith and dignity and never considered herself sick. She was a living example of understanding God’s plan and pleasing him. Debbie lost her battle August 12, 2011 and she is loved and missed everyday. Her family and close friends know she is watching over them.
