Deepak is an inspiration and driving force for runners in NC. He is an avid runner as well as a good coach. He was diagnosed with GBM Brain Cancer last year. Recovering after first surgery further motivated him to continue with his runs and getting others to pick up healthy lifestyle. Due to Covid, we couldnt continue with the runs. But Deepak didn’t let us rest. He started sending us daily exercise routines. Those daily routines have helped many of us to stay virtually connected. Unfortunately, Deepak’s cancer has relapsed. He has recently undergone surgery. I nominate Deepak for the amazing, strong, determined human being he is.
