Erika Butler keeps the faith—and then some. Diagnosed in 2023 with glioblastoma, an incurable brain cancer, Erika faced it with grit, grace, and dry wit. After 13 months away, she returned to Mary Kay—while still on chemo—to hit a milestone she dreamed of: 20 years of service. And she did it. She’s now using her voice to advocate for research in D.C., contribute to a clinical study, and support others. Early on, she bought what she thought would be her last pair of shoes. But she wore them out—and just bought a new pair. She also out-skied her prognosis, carving fresh powder in Vail at 18 months post-diagnosis. Erika continues to defy odds, find joy, and remind us what it means to live on purpose. We are in awe.
