Erika was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2023 at the age of 47. She told me shortly after that she did not know what she wanted her legacy to be. Little did she know, her legacy had already been set in stone, decades before this ridiculous diagnosis. She is, and has been, the most fiercely faithful and loyal friend anyone could ever wish to have. Her large group of friends who have been by her side the last three years are so lucky to have such a force in their lives. Despite the odds, Erika celebrated her 50th birthday last year with 50 of her most loyal supporters by her side on the dance floor.
