Everyone dealing with cancer and cancer treatments has their own experience. For Fonny, having brain cancer is just another opportunity to tell people about her personal savior Jesus Christ. That is who Fonny is. At her most recent appointment with her Oncologist, Fonny wrapped up the discussion of treatment options with, “we’ll tell me doctor, how can I pray for you?” Yes, in addition to praying for family and friends, she prays for her doctor. If you have not heard Fonny repeat Jeremiah 29:11, you haven’t known Fonny for very long. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” You see, cancer has no chance of beating Fonny. Her hope and future is in her Savior and she wants us all to experience the same hope. Lastly, for Alyssa, your mom loves you more than you will ever know. Yes, she tells people about Jesus, and she never misses an opportunity to tell someone how proud she is of you.
