Georgia Davis is a truly deserving nominee for the “Keeping the Faith Award” at the Head for the Cure event in North Texas. A two year survivor of glioblastoma, she embodies strength, resilience and unwavering faith in the face of extraordinary challenges.
Georgia was an avid runner for many years. She also worked out on her Peleton bike, did strength training and yoga. Once the diagnosis was discovered in mid 2024, she continued to walk and stationary cycle with some assistance. She endured aggressive treatments at UTSW and sessions with PTs, OTs and RMTs. Georgia even established a special fund for glioblastoma research in her name at UTSW.
Despite her diagnosis, Georgia Davis continues to live with remarkable positivity. Her bright spirit, generous heart, and ever present smile inspire everyone around her. She faces each day with courage and grace even as she deals with her own difficult journey.
She is a shining example of what it means to truly keep the faith.
