Never did we think cancer would ever become a part of Grayson’s story. Most two years old spend their time running around, but for Grayson fighting brain cancer became his life. In June 2018, we were hit with the word nobody wants to hear, cancer. Doctors confirmed Grayson had Grade 4 Astrocytoma. Grayson was admitted to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital where he is still receiving weekly chemotherapy. Despite the many treatments, scans, pokes and fears he still perseveres with a smile on his face. Superheroes have the power to make the impossible, possible. They take on villains head on. They fight. That’s exactly what Grayson does — he just fights. Grayson is our superhero. Cancer has immensely changed our lives. We are walking through a valley nobody would ever want to travel, but we are walking through it with faith. Faith that Grayson’s story ends with a cure. That Grayson will destroy cancer. “I have one power. I never give up” – Batman
