Dealing with cancer is an incredibly difficult and life changing event. When I think of how one should deal with and approach this diagnosis, my husband Jason is an incredible inspiration and role model for so many. “It’s all about how you deal with it” he often says. He has been incredibly courageous, strong, and has demonstrated the mental fortitude that one needs to battle disease. His positive attitude is contagious and doing what you love to do and keeping busy is key. It also helps that his best friend, Sparky, a Jack Russell Terrier is always by his side. Our family has been very blessed with the incredible medical care and support of family and friends over the years, and my husband and best friend Jason is truly a survivor and an inspiration to me and others.
