Jeanie is a true warrior.

She has taken her diagnosis and has turned it into an opportunity to teach everyone she encounters a different way of living with this disease. Although she has friends and family who could help her at mealtimes, she takes the opportunity to educate the wait staff at restaurants by talking about her brain tumor and asking them to ask the chef to cut her food into bite sized pieces.  Her friends are totally amazed by how little her personality has changed.

For her 62nd birthday, Jeanie held a celebration of life party and took the opportunity to express her gratitude to all her friends and family that have contributed to her life. She is now getting a little stressed about how she might follow it up for her 63rd birthday, but this is a problem she is very happy to have!
