Kelly Turner has been fighting an inoperable brain tumor for the past five years. The tumor has caused severe headaches, memory issues, and atypical seizures. Since she was diagnosed, she has undergone radiation, chemo, and two surgeries to treat her hydrocephalus. With all these issues she could have easily put life on hold, but it has not slowed her down at all. She has been able continue competitive running, has been a strong activist for brain cancer and has even been accepted into Bellevue’s rad tech program. Kelly’s authentic and positive attitude during her journey have acted as an inspiration to all that meet her.
