Laurie has spent her entire life showing up for others. As my sister and best friend, she was the keeper of our childhood memories, my biggest supporter, and the person I could always count on for advice, encouragement, and love. When our mom was sick, Laurie stepped in to help care for our family. As adults, she continued caring for everyone around her—her husband, Mark, their children, friends, patients, and extended family.

Since being diagnosed with glioblastoma in July 2025, Laurie has faced every challenge with incredible courage, determination, and faith. She continues to fight with the same strength and selflessness that have always defined her. Laurie is so much more than a diagnosis—she is a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and an inspiration to everyone who knows her. Her resilience, kindness, and unwavering spirit make her truly deserving of recognition.
