Linda was diagnosed at the end of January 2021 with GBM. She was transferred to Henry Ford Hospital Detroit to have surgery to remove a larger tumor in the right temporal lobe. The surgeon was able to remove over 95% of the tumor. The biomarkers of the tumor were a match for a study. Linda has gone through the 6 weeks of chemo/study drug/radiation therapy. She is into the 3rd cycle of 5/23 chemo with the addition of the study drug for all 28 days. The last MRI in August shows a clear void where the tumor was removed and no new growth. Of the 2 areas that could not be removed surgically, 1 area shows signs of shrinkage and the other does not show up on the MRI anymore. Linda is 7 months into this journey and is holding strong as the strong wife, mother, grandmother that she is. Linda we love you! Stay strong!
