Madeline was 2 days from moving back to college to start her sophomore year at Auburn University when she received the dreaded phone call that changed our lives forever. She had surgery 2 days later to remove her brain tumor. She withdrew from school and started her journey forward immediately after the surgery. She fought every day to stay on the path to recovery and healing. Shortly after she completed her own physical therapy following surgery, she solidified her future pathway. She is currently over 3 years out from her surgery with everything remaining stable, she graduated from Auburn in 4 years, and is now pursuing her graduate degree to become a physical therapist hoping to specialize in working with neurology patients when she completes this program. She is stronger than ever physically and spiritually and continues to amaze everyone around her with her dedication and drive. We are so incredibly proud of her and excited to participate in Head for the Cure 2026!
