This is my 30 year old son, he is my only child, a fighter and survivor. He has served 10 years in the Army. Shortly after getting out, he began to suffer headaches, they performed an MRI to discover a tumor, the end result was Glioblastoma. He is a year and a half out after surgery. He had 6 weeks radiation and a year chemo by mouth. He wears a Novocure device and all of his MRI’s have shown no growth, at the time of surgery they couldn’t get 20% of the tumor, with the treatments even that is gone and all that is left is scar tissue which by the way is shrinking also. He goes to College full time and speaks any chance he gets to folks about Glioblastoma and his story. He has inspired many people through facebook who have the same cancer. I would love nothing more than to have him honored for his strength and ability to inspire others who are fighting this horrible cancer.
