Matty was diagnosed in May of 23 with a grade 2 glioma astrocytoma that is in operable. He underwent 13 months of chemotherapy and concurrent radiation. This has taken a toll on Matty physically and mentally. He had to give up his career in motorcycles, which is his passion because he has tumor induced epilepsy. Matty fights daily to be in a good mood and stay positive even though he constantly has headaches and fatigue, he doesn’t complain. Matty has a new outlook on life, he definitely appreciate every day he is given and finds happiness in the little things. He is a giver and is always there if anyone needs an ear to bend, help with things or a giant hug. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He’s a fighter and his friends and family cherish him.
