Michael is a devoted husband to Angel (married 22 years) and dad to Carter (14) and Joseph (11). He has spent his adult life working in the transportation industry and finds great joy in leading The World Group. Offshore fishing with his boys and friends is the only activity he enjoys more. In May of 2019, he suffered an unexplained seizure. It took over three months before he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After a successful surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, pathology reports came back that it was cancer. He began radiation, chemotherapy and a clinical trial in September 2019. Through all of this Michael has kept the faith! He finds daily strength in his Savior Jesus Christ and knows that good will come of this. He has the best attitude often lifting those around him and making sure everyone knows it is going to be okay. He works before treatment and finds time and energy after to walk with his wife and catch-up with his boys. He plans to beat this and knows you can’t fight when you are down so somehow each day you will find him Up, fighting to live this life he loves.
