My dad is the strongest man I know and has shaped me to be the person I am today. From cheering me on and being my number one supporter in cross country and track races, to him screaming from the bleachers at my wrestling tournaments, and putting in the countless hours of training to get our black belts in taekwondo together, he has always been there to show me how much he cares for me. Now it is my turn. February 10th, 2026 was the day of his diagnosis. Glioblastoma grade 4. He had emergency brain surgery the next day to take a tennis ball size tumor from his brain. Through 30 rounds of radiation and countless doses of chemotherapy, the cancer still came back. August 14th, 2026 he had his second surgery to remove a much smaller tumor. God has pushed my dad and our family through extremely hard times, but through it all, my dad is still the strongest and most caring person I’ve ever met. Cancer will not win.
