My daughter Nicole Gargarita suffered from severe headaches for a very long time.Each time she went to the doctors to get a diagnosis she was told that they were migranes. She was told by her doctor she should go home and and takes her meds and put a cold washcloth on her head. By chance she wanted a second opinion in October of 2016. She went to the Cleveland Clinic and was seen by a neurologist and that was when she was told she had a brain tumor. As she is suffering through all of the migranes, doctor appointments, and medicines that did not seem to work. She was raising two little girls ages 3 and 5 and trying to still work full time to help raise her family. But the brain tumor got the best of her and she began having seizures and had to quit driving and work. After her having a stroke during surgery in November of 2016 Nicole started her chemo and radiation in January for six weeks of intense treatments. Nicole has still not totally recovered but is doing a fantastic job raising her two little girls with only the help from her husband Cristian. Through all of Nicole’s treatments her husband knew he had to work and Nicole was insistant on him working and she took care of the girls the best she could. Making sure her oldest got off to school everyday. Nicole never let the illness of brain cancer get the best of her she fought everyday and made it look easy.
