Parker was only 19 months old when he was diagnosed with a Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA) brain tumor in July 2016. After undergoing a partial tumor resection surgery, he started chemotherapy in December 2016 after the tumor started growing back. He’s currently in treatment on an 18 month chemo protocol, but luckily he’s responding well. His last MRI showed that the tumor was shrinking and his family remains ever hopeful for their pint-sized superhero!
