Pat Owen is a five-time cancer survivor, twice with breast cancer, once with lung cancer, then breast cancer again, then on April 3, 2016, Pat was diagnosed with a 5cm brain tumor. She endured a difficult, 18 hour surgery, then radiation and a slow recovery. This was followed my months of speech, physical and occupational therapy. In her own words, she knows she may never be her old self again, but will continue to fight with everything she’s got. She is able to read, write, walk, talk, play with her grandchildren and make art again. She says that life is good and she looks forward to every moment. Pat is a survivor, a remarkable woman and a great example for all who know her.
