I am nominating my husband for the Keeping the Faith award because of the person he has always been & the person he remained to be through all the ups and downs of this diagnosis. Paul is the calm & steady force for our family and somehow remained OUR rock throughout his treatment & recovery. He never complained, he just got up and did what needed to be done.
Last year we joined the Head for the Cure 5K. Paul wasn’t sure how he would feel about this event. Therefore, we decided to just register our little family of 5, The Geier Gucci Gang. I was so proud to see him RUN the 5K just being a few months out from treatment! We left the event & Paul was extremely fired up & inspired about the stories he heard, the community he saw surrounding this cause & the amount of money that was raised. He wanted to go BIG next year! Raise more money, grow his team & even score a team tent! Paul’s positive attitude, hard work & determination to fight continues to inspire us all. He is keeping the faith
