My mother, Peggy, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in September of 2019. She had surgery to remove the mass, radiation and still continues chemotherapy treatments. Her scans have all come back stable since surgery, and we are all extremely thankful for that. There are still not a lot of treatment options for patients with Glioblastoma, but through all of this, my mother has always kept a positive attitude about her disease. She just recently celebrated her 69th birthday, and will be celebrating 49 years of marriage in July. We are looking forward to more celebrations in the future with her.
