Phillip Kreymer counts his blessings every day. From the moment he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2007, Phillip made a vow from his hospital room that “BT” would not be for Brain Tumor; it would be “BT” for Blessed Trial. His mantra … Everyone goes through trials at some point in their lives, but you have to look for the blessings in them! Last July, Phillip received one of those blessings with the birth of his son even though he’d been told it was unlikely he and his wife would be able to have children naturally after the chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Phillip regularly visits the cancer center to encourage others who are undergoing treatments, understanding that what they are going through isn’t fun, but reminding them there will still be fun times. He continues to Keep the Faith.

Philip lost his battle with brain cancer on June 8, 2014.

He will be remembered for his bright smile and encouraging spirit.
