Hi,
I’d like to share with you the story of my extraordinary manager, Sandy Butler. She’s a Brain Cancer survivor!!! …… 43 months to be exact!!! She was originally diagnosed in November 2009, after surgery removing a cancerous tumor. Two weeks ago, June 3rd, she underwent surgery again and it was discovered that I had tumor growth for the 2nd time. Once again, the tumor was removed and she will undergo treatments to continue her fight with all the strength and prayers she has!!! Never once in her journey did she ever give up. She is the most beautiful and strong person I know inside and out. She raised 3 lovely daughters while fighting brain cancer and dealing with a divorce. But never once did she feel she was given a raw deal. Her unwavering faith kept her in the game and she was more worried about helping all of us with our mundane struggles in the professional world than she did worry about herself. Just spending 2 minutes with Sandy will make you appreciate life and all it has to offer. I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful manager and friend in my life.
