I am fuzzy on time frame so you may need to verify information with Sandy or her daughter. Sandy began having some issues with memory and her behavior became concerning. Eventually she discovered that she had a brain tumor and she began working with Dr. Groves. She feels a special bond with Dr. Groves and considers him her Angel on Earth, but her faith is strong and I know she feels that God helped to heal her because He still has work for her to complete. As a bereaved parent who lost a son to a GBM in 2002, I am pleased for Sandy’s prognosis and am inspired by her spirit.
