Sean Ries was nearing his 5th Birthday when he began having seizures. He was diagnosed with an egg-sized DNET, and underwent a tumor resection that was 80% successful. For the next 5 years of scanning Sean’s “bubble” remained stable. In February 2017, 5 years to the day from his diagnosis, Sean’s tumor progressed. A second tumor resection surgery removed the new growth, but the remainder of the original rumors remains inoperable. Sean completed 6 weeks of proton-radiation this week, and will continue scanning and prayers for stability. Sean is a warrior, and we are so proud of his strength!!!
