My wife is my hero. The sun in my life. She has shown more strength in the last 5 years since the diagnosis of her brain tumor than anyone I have ever met in my 60 years of life. For someone who was as active as she was, to lose her sight at 47 years old, almost lose her life and to keep on pushing through to the next day is a complete inspiration to anyone she meets. Her story is one of faith, strength and the will to help others. To meet her makes one want to give, to sacrifice so others may benefit and to make comfortable the lives of those around them.
